"Failure is the mother of success"

"Failure is the mother of success"

Everyone is afraid to fail in life. However, people should be keenly aware that not everything is going to go as well as it's planned. In other words, when we start implementing a certain scheme, although it's carefully planned in advance, we're still going to encounter some obstacles or difficulties that may arise unexpectedly. "Failure is the mother of success" - this was the quote I got from a fortune cookie, and it has been on my mind ever since.

Sometimes, the hardest thing can be admitting that we have made a mistake. In my opinion, it's not the failure itself, but what you do after that matters. You can either choose to go for a back up plan and work for it again, or do nothing and let it stay as failure.

Many people are afraid to fail because failure can easily make us feel that we're not good enough. However, the most important thing to remember is that, the more you fail, the better chance you have to succeed in the future. Why? Because if you see failure as an experience, as a lesson learned, you will understand how things didn't work at first. Finally, go back on track and keep trying for it - this is when you will be successful.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of you time, or any of your space" - Johnny Cash. I strongly agree that not all failure is bad - it's just a way of showing us that there's more to the idea of success.
